Comprehensive Mechanical and Electrical Systems Design for a Modern Care Home
Project Overview
We had the privilege of designing the mechanical and electrical systems for a state-of-the-art care home, spanning three stories: a basement, ground floor, and first floor. Our involvement extended from RIBA Stage 3 to Stage 6, ensuring a seamless integration of efficient and reliable systems that meet the highest standards of safety and comfort.
Project Scope
The care home project required a comprehensive approach to designing mechanical and electrical systems that cater to the unique needs of its residents. Our team focused on creating a safe, comfortable, and energy-efficient environment through the following key installations:
- Energy-Efficient Boiler System with Low Surface Temperature Heating
- Heating and Cooling Load Calculations
- LED Lighting Design
- Fire Alarm System
- Value Engineering LST Radiators.
We successfully implemented value engineering to reduce the cost of LST radiators, resulting in a five-figure saving for the client.
