Comprehensive Mechanical and Electrical Systems Design for a Conversion from a Commercial Premises to a Block of Flats

Project Overview

We had the opportunity to design the mechanical and electrical systems for the existing commercial demolition with a conversion to flats. Our involvement extended from RIBA stage 3 to 6. Through careful planning, detailed design, and close collaboration with all stakeholders, we successfully delivered a mechanical and electrical systems design that not only met but exceeded the project’s objectives, contributing to the creation of a comfortable, energy-efficient, and sustainable residential environment.

Project Scope

The conversion project required a comprehensive approach to designing mechanical and electrical systems with adapting the existing installations. Our team focused on creating a safe, comfortable, and energy-efficient environment through the following key installations:

  • Energy-Efficient Boiler System
  • LTHW Heating
  • Heating and Cooling Load Calculations
  • Electrical Load Calculations of the new and existing premises.
  • LED Lighting Design
  • Fire Alarm System

    Project Outcome

This project exemplifies our commitment to designing and implementing mechanical and electrical systems that prioritize safety, efficiency, and sustainability. The successful completion of this project underscores our expertise in delivering high-quality solutions that enhance the living conditions of the residents.
