Warehouse Six, Haverhill
Comprehensive Mechanical and Electrical Systems Design for Frost Protection

Project Overview
We had the privilege of designing a heating system for a warehouse to maintain an internal temperature of 4°C, preventing the sprinkler pipework from freezing. This project involved surveying the building, conducting a heat loss analysis, specifying warm air heaters with de-stratification fans, and producing a tender pack.
Project Scope
Our engagement involved a meticulous review and assessment process to ensure the proposed mechanical upgrades were feasible and aligned with the warehouse racking.
- Building and Services Survey to gather data on the structure, insulation, and services layout.
- Heat Loss Analysis to determine the required heat to maintain 4°C in the warehouse.
- Electric warm air heaters and de-stratification fans were selected for efficient heat distribution.
- Tender Pack Production with specifications, installation guidelines, drawings and a tender sum including a tender sum review.
Project Outcome
Our design ensured the warehouse maintained a temperature of 4°C, protecting the sprinkler system from freezing. The project included thorough surveys, precise heat loss calculations, and detailed tender documentation, ensuring effective and reliable heating system installation.
